| Sept. 15-16 was the 25th annual Polly Crockett Festival in Cowan. Saturday drew quite a crowd with numerous diverse activities ranging from Polly's Skillet Toss and a Horse Shoe Pitching Tournament to Horse and Buggy Rides, and lots of fun for children of all ages: Bungee Jump, 35' Titanic Slide, craft tent, Hit and Miss engines, Antique cars, and much more. Held on the third weekend of September, it's an event to be marked on your calendars. While we spent most of our time either painting the engine, or working in the depot, we did manage a few photos on a quick walk-around.... |
